Owner/Instructor: I am certified in pre and postnatal fitness. I became the owner in October of 2015.

Little Nuggets: I have three active, spunky, amazing little boys. Larsy, was born in 2013, Landon in 2015, and Lane in 2017.

Thoughts About FIT4MOM: I LOVE FIT4MOM! I started coming when Larsy was a baby and fell in love with the program; everything about it. I love the workouts because I can see a difference in my body; I'm more toned and have more endurance after being a part of this program. It is so fun for me to see my sons enjoy the workouts as well. They sing the songs and practice the exercises at home and they've made the best little buddies. I love that they get to see me enjoying exercise because its setting the right example for them. And I LOVE the village. The mom's are all amazing people and being around them each day inspires me. Fit4Mom brings exercise and community into one place which I think is so important for everyone, but Mom's especially because if we're not active about taking care of ourselves and creating community, life can be a bit...rough.

What Else Are You Passionate About: I am an Early Childhood and Family Studies major from the University Of Washington, so the ages of my kids is so fun for me right now because they're what I spend years studying. I love interacting with them and watching them develop. And my husband is amazing, spending time with him is the best! I also love to cook and bake. Making meals from scratch not only tastes amazing to me, but actually cooking/baking relaxes me. And I love to go on adventures, exploring new places and trying out new restaurants!

One piece if advice for new moms regarding our FIT4MOM programs: Come join us!! Don't hesitate because you don't know anybody. You will instantly have friends and a community. We have playgroups every week and Mom's Night Out each month. We encourage each other and support one another. I know sometimes that can be hard to believe because Mom's aren't always encouraged by others the way they should be, but JUST COME! You will see how amazing this group of Mom's and kiddos are!

Future Goal: I want to continue to see myself gaining strength and endurance so I can keep up with my boys as they grow older. I also want to reach the many moms in this area that will benefit from this program. I didn't have a solid community before starting Stroller Strides and it was life changing for me, I want to see as many moms experience this program as possible!

Little nugget: I have a very sweet and energetic daughter named Veera born October 2015.

Thoughts about FIT4MOM: I absolutely love FIT4MOM ! I started when my daughter was 7 months and it completely changed motherhood for me. We finally had an excuse to
leave the house and I was able to make friends with all these amazing women who are all moms! I could not imagine life with out stroller strides.

What else are you passionate about: I love going on walks with my husband, daughter and our two dogs George and Sandy.

Advice for moms regarding FIT4MOM: I promise if you try a class you will not regret it! We were all nervous our first time but you will fit right in!

Future goals: I would love to become certified in other classes FIT4MOM offers such as body back and continue my education in fitness.

Little Nuggets: Mommy to Jamison, a very active yet laid back boy born in March 2014.

Thoughts About FIT4MOM: I love FIT4MOM! I found FIT4MOM through a Google search in December 2015. I was able to attend my first stroller strides class in Februar
y 2016, and although my kid screamed for part of the class, I loved it! I was then able to attend my first Body Back session in May 2016 and continue with Stroller Strides during my school breaks. When I was Googling, I was looking for a place where I could bring my son with me, yet still get a workout in. I didn't want to go the traditional gym route with childcare as I was already working full-time and didn't want to put him in more childcare and be away from him, but also needed some me time and to workout - something that was apart of me before and during pregnancy. I was excited to come across FIT4MOM and was able to message Lindsay Trulson about checking out a class. Since I work, I wasn't able to attend right away, but that didn't matter, she still welcomed me with open arms. I have found a place that I feel safe and loved. Where my son feels safe and loved. Where I can workout, but also connect with others that are going through similar highs and lows of mommyhood.

What Else Are You Passionate About: Running! Kids! Reading! Crafting (when I have time)! I started running in 2012 with a goal to run a 5k every month for the year. I was able to accomplish that goal and more! Finishing the year with a half marathon. The next year, my goal was a full marathon. I was able to complete that in June 2013! I continued to run until I was about 7 1/2 months pregnant, and then it was just too uncomfortable. Once I was able to workout again I slowly started walking and then running again with my son in the stroller. I have completed many races with him, included 3 half marathons. I also recently completed a 50 mile ultramarathon in June 2017. I love running with my son, as well as solo. I also love kids! I love watching my son grow and develop! I am a speech language pathologist by day and currently work with preschool and elementary age students (but have done ages 3-21 years old). I love watching them make progress and playing games to learn new things. I love reading and crafting! Though those things don't happen as frequently any more, I do enjoy them. But as my son gets older we get to do more of those things together, which is fun.

One piece if advice for new moms regarding our FIT4MOM programs: Just try it! I remember worrying about going to stroller strides and Jamison screaming. Well, he did! Everyone was so helpful, they also understood and didn't care! He also wasn't the only one. Everyone was so welcoming and encouraging. Even though I was new, they helped me with Jamison, with the exercises, everything. I felt like I already knew everyone and that I could comfortably come back. Just try Body Back! It may seem intimidating, but it really isn't! They are hard workouts, they are supposed to be. But you get stronger and they get easier (until they change them because they are becoming too easy!). This is YOUR time. YOUR workout. YOUR time to change and get stronger without a distraction of your littles. All of the ladies, in every session, have been so encouraging, so helpful, supportive, have your backs, everything you could want or need. Some sessions you rock it, some you don't. But you see change and you get what you put in it. It is one of my favorites because I can push hard and see lots of change, but also have so much support from a close group of friends.

Future Goal: I would love to further my education, experience and knowledge around nutrition and other forms of FIT4MOM workouts (stroller strides, stroller barre, fit4mom, body back), as well as continue to gain knowledge around running - form, strength exercises, nutrition, etc. to help other moms (ladies and men too) and myself become stronger runners and stronger versions of ourselves.

Sweet Kids: I have two very animated, eccentric, loving boys. Mason was born in 2011. Maxwell was born is 2014.

Thoughts About FIT4MOM: FIT4MOM has blessed my life in so many ways. I started going in 2012, I didn't have any friends with babies at the time and knew I needed to take a step to get healthy; physically, and emotionally. I was so uncomfortable and nervous to go "alone", but I am SO thankful I did. They welcomed me right away. Unfortunately, I was the mom who's kid had temper tantrums half the class, but they supported me through it and eventually he got used to it. It was so nice to have support and not feel judged. I am a better mom because I decided to take an hour out of my day to take care of myself. I'm able to workout, without hiring a babysitter or missing time with my kids. They have so much fun watching and singing along. We both have made the best of friends. I lost all my baby weight after gaining close to 65lbs and continued doing Stroller Strides throughout my second pregnancy, and had a much healthier pregnancy. I love coming to Stroller Strides it seriously sets my tone and mood for the day and I have so much more energy. I think it's safe to say my Husband is a fan as well ;)! I love how my kids are constantly walking around the house singing the songs from class and working out with such amazing form! It makes me happy to see I'm setting a great example for them. Exercise is fun when you're with FIT4MOM!

What Else Are You Passionate About:
I'm passionate about spending as much time as possible with my loved ones. We love going on family vacations to tropical destinations such as Cancun and Maui. We enjoy taking our boat out wake boarding in Chelan and local lakes. I love happy hour and red wine. I have a crazy obsession with anything pumpkin. I love shopping. I love snowboarding (even if we haven't actually made it in years).

One piece of advice for new moms regarding our FIT4MOM programs:
Life changing. Just come. I promise you'll thank us! Don't worry about forgetting your kids shoes on the way out the door, spilling coffee on your workout shirt, or just feeling like a hot mess mom! You will fit right in and be loved from the start!

Future Goal:
I would love to eventually join and become certified in every class FIT4MOM has to offer. I want to reach as many moms as possible and share this amazing group I've found! And of course continue to get stronger and healthier!

Thoughts about FIT4MOM: FIT4MOM has changed my life in so many positive ways! When I first found out about FIT4MOM it sounded really fun but I was nervous about tr
ying something new with people whom I never met before. I was scared of being the "new girl" who had no clue what she was doing and didn't have anyone to talk to. At the time I had just recently moved to WA and my fiancé was deployed, so I didn't know anyone here. I can honestly say I am so thankful I went to that first class! Everyone was so welcoming! I didn't feel uncomfortable at all. FIT4MOM gave me the chance to get involved with other moms in the area while getting a great workout in. I love that I can take my son with me and don't have to worry about leaving him or finding a baby sitter.

What else are you passionate about: I love spending as much time possible with my family! We're very active. We love going to the gym, hiking, pretty much anything outdoors! We also love checking out local breweries and going wine tasting. Anyone who knows me knows I have an obsession with coffee, I wouldn't survive without it!

One piece of advice for new moms regarding FIT4MOM programs: Don't worry about not fitting in or knowing what you're doing. Everyone is so welcoming and will help you through all the exercises. Just come. Meet new moms. Have fun. It's that's simple. FIT4MOM is so much more then just an exercise group. I've met so many new moms and made some amazing friends. Take advantage of the moms nights. As moms we tend to take care of our kids needs before our own. I can't tell you how many times I've looked at the clock and it's 3pm and I haven't eaten yet. It's so important that we take care of ourselves too. Make time for YOU! Without FIT4MOM I think I'd lose my sanity. I always feel so much better after going to class and releasing those endorphins! It puts me in a better mood and sets a good example for my son. I love that he gets to see me live a healthy lifestyle. To be the best mom I have to be the best me. FIT4MOM helps make that possible.

Further Goal: I would love to expand my education in fitness and become certified in all FIT4MOM classes! I want to reach as many moms as I can and make a positive impact on their lives. And of course to stay healthy and active!

Thoughts About FIT4MOM: I feel like FIT4MOM gave me a place that I could go to exercise and be around other women who have/had experienced everything I was going through. I felt very isolated and alo
ne after having my son and FIT4MOM showed me I wasn't. For the first time I understood what it meant to be a part of a "village" and a "tribe"!

What Else Are You Passionate About: My little family, fitness, hiking, being outside, traveling, trying new restaurants, movies and theater (when I can find the time to go.)

One piece of advice for new moms regarding our FIT4MOM programs: There is a program for everyone! I know it's hard to start a new program but that's the hardest part because once you actually start, you'll always want to go!

Future Goal: I would like to get certified in FIT4Baby. I would like to continue educating myself in all aspects of fitness.

Thoughts About FIT4MOM: Fit4Mom offers a welcoming, safe place for moms to exercise, socialize and share advice and experiences. After relocating to WA almost a year ago, I knew I needed to get involved with other moms and I loved the idea of getting a workout in too! My daughter has so much fun playing with the other kids and I couldn't imagine the past year had we not found Stroller Strides!

What Else Are You Passionate About: I love exploring new places with my husband and daughter. We enjoy hiking, checking out new restaurants and local breweries and going to the beach.

One piece of advice for new moms regarding our FIT4MOM programs: Give it some time. For a lot of moms and kids, it can take some time to get into a new routine and stroller strides is no different. Give yourself a chance to try a few workouts and meet the other moms. I promise your kids will get used to the hour in their strollers and will probably start to enjoy themselves and maybe even start to sing along. And take advantage of the mom's nights outs and playgroups too- it's surprising how therapeutic a morning sipping coffee and painting (or doing anything) with friends can be!

Future Goal: I am excited (and a little terrified) to take on the challenge of another baby and I am looking forward to eventually expanding my FIT4MOM education to include Body Back and Stroller Barre.
